The Total Contact Saddle is a lightweight, versatile treeless saddle that fits any horse, of any size. Placing the horse and rider in total contact with each other, it creates a unified riding experience and bond. The perfect saddle for horses who are hard to fit a conventional saddle to, and for riders who seek greater connection with their horse.

The Total Contact Saddle is made with high quality English leather by English Master Saddlers, using English stainless steel new design "swing bars" for the stirrup attachments and metalwork for the D-rings.

The Classic Total Contact Saddle is available with long or short billets. The body of the saddle is the same in both styles, meaning both the short and long billet saddle fits all horses and rider whatever their size, it’s purely down to your preference if you want to use a normal girth or a dressage girth.

Long billet

On the long billet saddle, the measurement across the back of the saddle from the second hole on one girth strap to the second hole on the other is 54"  137cm. Please use this information to decide which saddle will suit your under girthing length.

Short billet

On the short billet saddle, the measurement across the back of the saddle from the second hole on one girth strap to the second hole on the other is 38” 96cm The billet/ girth straps end about 5” below the under flap. Please use this information to decide which saddle will suit your under girthing length.

The Total Contact Premium Saddle Seat

The Total Contact Saddle Seat has been thoughtfully and scientifically designed to be the perfect partner to your Total Contact Saddle. 

It is available in Black and Brown high quality leather. 

The saddle seat has three loops on the front, this is so you can attach the Saddle seat loop to the TCS front D rings to the size that fits you best, the back of your seat should touch the start of the cantle.  The  Saddle seat covers a 16" through to 18" seat. The saddle seat measures 17" from the middle indented front to the back.  The seat from the centre of the  pommel area to the centre of the back of the cantle measures 46cm or 18"

For the rider this saddle seat will give you more rider stability and a slight twist.

The Saddle Seat is a 3D design and has a sculpted seat shape incorporating a pommel and cantle using layers of foam, the top layer of foam is a resistant layer for pressure dispersal to give maximum comfort for horse and rider and eliminates any pressure at all from riders who might have prominent seat bones.

The Saddle Seat works best with your choice of a slim saddle cloth underneath,  this way you keep the saddle seat clean

Please note you are buying just the saddle and saddle seat, you need to add your choice of saddle pad to out under the seat pad, leathers, stirrups, and girth.
