The Premium Total Contact Saddle is a fully flexible treeless saddle which offers unparallelled freedom for your horse and unbeatable comfort for you – the closest thing to riding bareback, but with stirrups. Placing the horse and rider in total contact with each other, it creates a unified riding experience and bond. Unlike other treeless saddles which can feel bulky and wide or traditional saddles with rigid trees, the Premium Total Contact Saddle is light, minimalist in design, hugs your horse’s natural shape, allowing unrestricted movement of the shoulders and back muscles. Colours and Finishes

Crafted from premium English Butt leather, it is slightly thicker than the Classic Total Contact Saddle, more highly oiled and is available in Jet Black and Nutmeg.

Customer Notice: The Nutmeg leather is a
gorgeous colour, but sometimes comes with the mottling, which means it will age with a lovely patina. The colour can vary in different shades of a reddish brown. Leather is a natural product and so the leather does not always dye uniformly.

Saddle Care

Wipe down your saddle with a damp cloth, then use Lincoln Glycerine Tub Soap or Lincoln Glycerine Spray Soap for a deeper clean. Use Lincoln’s Superior Leather Balsam to hydrate deeply and create a barrier against wear and tear. Apply with a sponge in light layers and allow it to soak in. Make sure to gently clean and condition the underside, too—especially after sweaty rides or wet conditions.

Billets and girth straps take constant tension. A touch of Superior Leather Balsam helps maintain pliability in these high-stress areas, preventing cracking before it starts.

Ensure that your saddle is stored in a damp-free place and not put away in anything other than a dry condition. Use a breathable cover, if any, and keep your saddle in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing in direct sunlight or over radiators—heat is leather’s worst enemy.

I love it, my mare loves it, which makes me love it even more. She could be quite sour when I put her previous saddle (fitted by a professional) on her back or took it off after a ride. With the TCS she doesn't show this behaviour anymore. When riding she moves in a free and relaxed manner, the best ever although she turns 17 this year. Amazing quality. Love the Oakwood colour. This is the only saddle my mare will let me put on her back, we have done hundreds of miles in the TCS. And this one is for my newly backed 4 year old. Love love love my TCS, The premium is so soft and padded underneath and my pony is finally able to relax and stretch down under saddle which he has not done prior in treed or even treeless saddles, also had no slippage even when mounting from the ground on my very round non existent withered cob, the company has also been incredible to deal with and are very quick to answer any queries, highly recommend!

Hi I was very sceptical about the tcs at first but my pony moves amazing in it and it feels extremely well feeling the movement yourself. Finding it a pain trying allsorts of different pads/setups as i find the tcs and posh pony pads very expensive for what they are so using what I already have. Polypad/gel seat saver
I think if an incentive like get friends to purchase get a discount on a pad/seat etc I think the sales would increase but just an idea

LOVE my new tcs

I got my tcs after trying my friends. Well as soon as I sat on hers I knew I had to have one. My horse goes so much better in my new tcs than he has for a very long time in a normal saddle. Much more willing, free’er through his shoulders and actually lifting his back now, something I have been struggling with for a long time.

The Classic saddle is smart yet affordable and the Premium saddle is textured and sophisticated Both saddles are made with high quality leather; the Classic TCS is made from shoulder leather whereas the Premium saddle is made from 'butt' leather, which is thicker and slighly heavier. Butt leather is more sought after and for this reason, it makes for a more premium product. Both saddles are the same shape and have the same functional design. Arrived very quickly

I have delayed writing a review as I purchased 2 TCS then put them in the spare room whilst my daughter's rode their Fell ponies bareback. Over the last couple of weeks we have been using the saddles once or twice a week. I spent ages starting at photos to make sure I was positioning the saddle right and I think, now I understand which part of a conventional saddle it imitates, the positioning is spot on. With a polypad and a Shires Arms fleece half pad the ponies don't seems to realise they have a saddle on. The saddle in turn gives my daughters confidence as they have stirrups but both comment that they can still feel their ponies moving. Both girls have a lovely saddle position and both ponies are moving beautifully. My back lady also praised the TCS for the shoulder clearance they give my sticky little ponies. I would heartily recommend for anyone who's pony is their best friend.
