Rid'Up Safety Stirrups

The stirrup is a crucial component in ensuring rider security, safety, comfort and effectiveness; the RidUp stirrup addresses all these functions and works perfectly with the TCS leathers.

SAFETY

Patented automatic release system at the buckle. The stirrup disengages from the stirrup leather during certain falls, while remaining intact, to reduce the risk of being dragged.

BALANCE

Dynamic compensation system by absorbing movement through the rotation of the buckle, providing greater stability and fixity.

COMFORT

• The wide floor provides stable support and good sensations, notably relieving pressure under the foot.
• High-performance TPE sole under the rigid floor for a optimal shock absorption.
• 90 degree stirrup eye for comfort.

GRIP AND SENSATIONS

• Ideal grip: steel studs provide optimum grip while allowing freedom of foot movement.
• Optimized elastomer grade for a better feel on horseback and optimal control.
• Weight optimized for performance (440 grams/stirrup).
• Floor width: 12cm
• No minimum or maximum weight for the rider.

Available in a range of colours: all black, or black combined with brown, grey, red or blue. 

To remove the buckles

1) Buckles in the palm of the hand, push hard forward and down.

or

2) Stirrup leather under the foot, forcefully pull the stirrups towards you.

To clean the security system

1) Remove the dust present in the slot and on the ball (ideally with compressed air).

2) Clean with water using a cloth or brush. Let dry.

3) Add occasionally and if necessary two drops of oil (i.e. bike oil)

4) Respect the direction to replace the buckle . Its nose must be in contact with the stirrup above the logo. Force the buckle into this position by pushing into the slot.

Direction of use of stirrups

For the proper functioning of the automatic triggering system, there is a direction of use to be respected. Remember to follow the direction of the arrows on the floor of the stirrup.

Yes. The rotation of the buckle is one of the strong added values ​​of Rid'Up stirrups, but it generates some constraints : the buckles are wearing parts, this is why the manufacturers recommend that you change them 1 to 2 times a year (depending on use). You can purchase new buckles here.
