The Premium Total Contact Saddle.
The Premium Total Contact Saddle is a high-quality saddle crafted by a Master Saddler in Kent in the United Kingdom. It is a lightweight, versatile treeless saddle that fits any horse, of any size. Placing the horse and rider in total contact with each other, it creates a unified riding experience and bond. The perfect saddle for horses who are hard to fit a conventional saddle to, and for riders who seek greater connection with their horse.
The Premium Total Contact Saddle is made with the highest quality English leather, using English stainless steel new design "swing bars" for the stirrup attachments and metalwork for the D-rings. It is slightly thicker than the Classic Total Contact Saddle, more highly oiled and uses the very best part of the hide called the Butt leather.
The Total Contact Saddle was designed to give the closest possible contact with the horse whilst keeping the security of stirrups. The minimalist design strips away unnecessary padding, tree, cantle and pommel to deliver direct communication between horse and rider.
Riders will enjoy a natural riding position and being able to truly feel their horse – the horse will enjoy unrestricted movement and a saddle that hugs their unique conformation, regardless of their size or shape. The Total Contact Saddle can be used for anything and everything from pleasure hacking to endurance rides, jumping and dressage to cross country. It’s a very gentle saddle that’s also brilliant when first bringing your horse into riding.
This saddle is available in Black and Nutmeg. Please note that the Nutmeg leather is a gorgeous colour, but sometimes comes with the mottling, which means it will age with a lovely patina. The colour can vary in different shades of a reddish brown. Leather is a natural product and so the leather does not always dye uniformly.
The Premium Total Contact Saddle can be made for you with Long or Short billets (girth straps). They both have the same body, this means both short and long billet saddle fit all horses and riders whatever their size, it’s purely down to your preference if you want to use a normal girth or a dressage girth.
